Small Business Health Insurance Articles for eHealth


Based on SEO keyword research, I developed in-depth content guides and articles for eHealth’s website based on frequently searched questions about small business health insurance plans and related healthcare topics.

  • I used Google Analytics and SEMrush to track key performance indicator (KPI) metrics. Overall, my content directly contributed to SEO results by leading to a significant increase in sessions, sales leads, and ultimately conversions.
  • My articles were often featured on the company’s email marketing and social media accounts, including LinkedIn and Twitter.
  • I managed freelance writers and editors as part of the monthly content production process. This included assigning work and making all final edits.

The Helpful Grandson

The Helpful Grandson is a website concept that I developed in order to help Senior family members and loved ones stay safe online and avoid scams. The site is meant to present complex information about the threat of digital scams in a clear and accessible manner. In the examples I have included here, I wrote all of the copy for the home page and Starter Kit cards, and I also designed the layout.

Articles for BrickJournal Magazine

As a contributing writer to BrickJournal, the world’s largest LEGO magazine, I wrote two articles:

  • “Crazy Arms: Custom Posable Arms for LEGO Minifigures,” an article published in the December 2019 issue.
  • “Build Better Bricks: Creating Custom High Quality LEGO Instructions,” an article published in the October 2018 issue.

The articles focus on custom accessories for LEGO minifigures and a company which develops digital instructions for LEGO models inspired by popular culture. Overall, the articles highlight the key features of each product for LEGO fans and hobbyists.

Miskatonic University

I created, developed, and wrote a complete fictional university website, inspired by Miskatonic University in the works of author H.P. Lovecraft. For this project, I set out to imagine what a haunted university website from the 1920s would look like. I created pages highlighting the university’s Research, Academics, and Campus Life. I wrote all of the site content, and designed the entire custom website using Elementor, one of the top WordPress page builders.

Vampire & Pest Removal Services

I wrote, designed, and created a website landing page for a fictional paranormal pest control service, focusing on the humane removal of Vampires, the Undead, and other creatures of the night. As an example of an SEO landing page, this content features a clear Call to Action and provides an in-depth overview of the company’s services.

PRINT ADVERTISEMENT:
Ad Copy for New England Tourism

The copy that I wrote for this page represents a magazine print advertisement or flyer that seeks to promote tourism to a fictional coastal town in New England. The goal of the page’s upbeat tone is to catch the attention of readers seeking to plan their next summer vacation, and to encourage them to consider booking a trip there soon.

This writing sample I created is meant to represent a blog post to announce the upcoming release of a fictional role-playing game (RPG) supplement book called Ocean of Blight. The goal of this post is inform readers about the content of the book, build awareness in order to generate excitement, and ultimately lead interested readers to pre-order the product.

Here are spec work book cover designs for a fictional crime/murder mystery book series. Although I am primarily a Copywriter and Content Strategist, I am well-versed with Adobe Photoshop, Pixelmator, and other graphic design programs. I always enjoy creating graphic concepts to support my copywriting and content design projects.
